Warning: I’m going to use my own equipment in this whole tutorial-type blog. I will also highly recommend you do not use this method for malicious purposes. Because it’s not a good practice. I’m writing this blog just for educational purposes.

Okay, let me show
you how easy it is to crack a wireless network.
You will need the following
things for this process:
Kali Linux:
I’m running here
Kali Linux version 2020.4 within my laptop on windows 10. Also, you need to install kali Linux on your
system. I will recommend you to install version 2020.4 or higher than this.
When installing, you will be asked to set a password for authentication
purposes. Just set the password, whatever you want to set.
Network Adapter:
The Wireless network
adapter should support monitor mode and packet injection. In my example, I’m using
an alpha network adapter.
Now follow
the steps below:
- Plug the adapter into your computer.
- You will be asked on-screen “whether you want to connect the device or reject it?”, just give permission to windows to connect.
- Now in kali Linux, Run an application called “Fern Wi-Fi Cracker”.
- You will be asked to enter a password, which you were set while installing the Kali on your system.
- You will be shown a pop up “ do you want to install a professional version of Fern Wi-Fi cracker?” Just click “No” and keep following me.
- The first thing you need to do is select “Wlan0”, as below in the screenshot.

- Now click the scanner Icon on Kali Linux, to scan the available networks. As shown in the screenshot below.

- You will be shown all available networks in Kali Linux, Under Tab “Wi-Fi WPA”.
- Click the “Wi-Fi WPA” Icon and check the list of all available networks. As shown below in the screenshot.

- From the detected list of available networks, you may choose your own Wi-Fi network. I’m going to choose TP-Link, that’s my own.
- When you will click the wifi name, All properties of your chosen wi-fi will be shown. As in the screenshot below.

- Choose then Option “Regular Attack” on the left side, and click the button “Browse”.
- Now you will be asked to choose a wordlist file, Just choose “Rock You”, you may find the file on the address “home/Kali/rockyou.txt”. As shown below in Screenshot.

- Now Click the Icon “Attack” on the upper right corner of Kali Linux.
- This Process is Called “Handshake”. So handshake will be started, and after some time, you will be shown a pop-up that the process has been done. Just click the Ok. As shown In the screenshot below.

- The Bruteforce process has been done and you can find the password in the lower section, as shown on the screen below.

- Now again, don’t use this process for malicious purposes. Use this only for your own problem solutions.
